The endocannabinoid system is a system that occurs naturally in the human brain. It has two receptors: the CB1 and CB2 receptors. Both of these receptors have important functions even when there isn't any CBD in your body to react with those receptors.

There have also been studies on humans with social anxiety disorder. The study involved giving some subjects a placebo and others a dose of CBD. Those who took the dose of CBD experienced fewer symptoms of anxiety compared to those who got the placebo.
Some studies found that CBD may even be able to soothe the symptoms of PTSD and generalized anxiety disorder. More studies are necessary to see how effective CBD really is when it comes to treating anxiety, but the research is promising.
How to Take CBD
